Canal Street

Going back to the same day as my 'Underneath the Arches' upload from Ironbridge, we afterwards visited here, Blists Hill Victorian Town Living Museum. I uploaded a few images from here after the visit, and thought I'd faff around with one or two that didn't include people in modern-day clothing. I've processed this particular image using the Nik Collection of plugins - one with the Bleach Bypass filter, and the other with Silver Efex Pro 2, adding a slight sepia toning. Couldn't decide which I prefer or to upload, so here are both! 😃
(image taken 31/05/2015)

Many thanks to Ju (JuBarney) for her User Award on my previous upload, In Remembrance , most appreciated 🏆👍

Raw image processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Nik Collection's plugins and Photoshop Elements 2020.

Thanks again to everyone for your vote & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging 😃👍

Trev 😀

Excellent composition, clarity and detail as always Trev. I particularly like the sepia toned version.

Both work very well for me too Trev. The colour is reminiscent of a hand coloured print of the period and the mono of b&w prints of the era. But perhaps both need softening a bit to get the period look.

Both very good, Trev, but I do think the colour adds a certain something here.

Both work well, Trev.
I smiled at the range of items in the outfitters - 'collars' for instance...I remember my dad wearing white uniform shirts and he wore the same shirt for 3 days, changing the collar every day. Mum was happy with that as it meant less shirts to wash, however, she did complain because dad insisted on the collars being starched!

Interesting processing Trev but for me the finish almost makes it look like a model village.

The opener just wins it for me, a great image.

I wish you had enable mods as I am dying to have a play with this. Might just do so anyway.
