More raking of the archives, trying to find something I’ve not used on EPZ before. This is going way back to 2008 on a trip to Manchester. Crossing the River Irwell towards the Salford side is the Trinity Footbridge. On reaching the far side there's this tall pylon for the bridge's supporting cables and thought it something a bit different and would make a good lead image. On reprocessing, it seems to work better in mono than colour. The version shows a wider view of the bridge, and in colour, looking across to the pylon side, with the Lowry Hotel in the centre of the image.
The lead was shot with the Nikon 18-55mm lens at 55mm, the version with the Sigma 10-20mm and at 10mm.
