Distant Memories

By Trevhas
We used to bring the kids here in the summer months to play when they were younger, then pop off to the nearby garden centre for a toasted teacake....mmmmmm.

I used a slight tint on processing for effect on these two.

Both images are atmospheric in the early morning (?) mist.
I prefer the first image as it is more interesting and has more movement.
Could it be improved by reducing the brightness of the bench.
I thought it might be better not to have the bench there but actually it is a nice bench.

The bench is covered in frost and reflects light as intended to balance the distant light, the bench is also part of the special memory, thanks for looking Sue.

Creates a feeling of lonelyness, and time for contemplation. Memories indeed.

Lovely moody images, I've sat on that bench too in the summer, years ago.

Lovely atmospheric images. The processing and toning adds to the effect.

Someone once told me that a great photographer should be able to get a great image whatever the conditions. This image certainly backs up that statement, this is a stunner!Grin
