A beautifully exposed capture Trevor, however I do feel that the left hand side of the image lets the whole pice down. May I be so bold as to suggest a portrait style crop slight off to one side in order to remove for me the unwanted and unnecessary left and some of the right. The wooden groin make a great lead in.

Just a thought.

Definitely with Nathan on the crop: compared with the colour and detail of hte main part of the image, the left side is pretty bland.

I'm not sure this works completely: while the clouds are moving to/from the vanishing point, they seem, to my eye, to be not quite blurred enough...

Thanks Nathan for your opinion. I considered the upright but didn't want another groyne and lighthouse pic so I went for the less is more option and included the void white light as a lead in hence the title.

Still trying new things and experimenting to see what works and doesn't, thanks for your votes everyone as it's interesting looking back at my pf to see what does work, maybe this one doesn't but it does for me !!.

Like the comp but agree it is a touch overwhelmed by the light on the left Wink

Excellent shot but the portrait or square version would work better for me too Smile
