Marshy Moor

By Trevhas
I left the wellies at home for this trek along Stanage edge hoping to capture the spectacular sunsets we've had over the last couple of days.
I hadn't thought too much about the hike back after sunset but luckily i always keep a head torch in my bag ( it's a boy scout thing), lovely experience treking out through the twilight listening to snipe drumming arriving back at the car in full darkness.

A moist impressive lowlight composition, which has been superbly observed from a great point of view. The image has immediate interest in the reflective pool in the foreground. Furthermore the exposure IMHO is spot and your chosen aperture of f/16 has ensured both clarity and interest in depth.

The processing has an interesting effect on the reeds, particularly in the foreground, but what a wonderful sky.
