Foreground detail and a glorious sky, Trevor. The remains of the snow picks out the wall lines well.

Beautiful landscape: I love that sunset sky above the misty distance and the light catching on the f/g mosses and heathers.
Wonderful depth to this image with excellent detail at all levels, and the portrait format is perfect.

The sunset is spectacular and its colour balances the FG moss nicely. There's a lot of aerial depth as well as that from the lead in lines, which are emphasised by the potrait format. This is really great! Smile

Thanks for all your positive comments everyone, it is much appreciated. I've just returned from a family day out near Dave's place at filey/ Bempton, with Gannets whizzing by, ( i'll stick to landscapes) fantastic. Before i left i posted this shot which was taken before the snow fall to cheer my pf up which is looking a bit white, i was going to call it 'Before the Snow Storm' but it was such a lovely quiet evening. I found my self up on the moors again last night and the snow and drifts are still quite heavy Dave and this shot now has a huge drift all the way down to the path.
Have a good week.
