A most beautiful image Trev. Some may consider the composition somewhat unbalanced and not fitting the rules of composition i.e. : There are only two primary subjects instead of the recommended three, namely the sheep. However although they add immediate interest to the foreground one must look further in order to full appreciate the image as a whole and sod the rules.

Thanks Nathan for your observation, the missing sheep will be appearing in tomorrows posting which will have a total of four sheep messing up that rule book again. I've decided that the sheperding business is not for me.

A lovely end of the day atmosphere about it.

I take it the sheep have been added, going by the way they are lit compared to the rest of the image. Apologies if that's not the case. Smile
Don't worry about the numbers thing.

I might be considered a little sad chasing sheep across the moors but i'm not sad enough to waste my time on the computer adding sheep, it's a nice idea though that way i could have increased my flock to three, now where's me shepherds stick ? i'm back in business !!.

Outstanding. Like the backlit sheep. Looks like a painting - if it was then I'd expect to see three (or five) sheep but hey this is photography - what can you do?

Rules are made to be broken when such pleasing results are obtained.
