Hi Danny,
Thank you for the PM,,,can't reply to you just yet, as you don't have the facility.e-mail?
I like the composition of this image, & a great tight crop.
It needs to be sharpened just a little to bring out definition in the textures of the rocks.
If you have photoshop or paintshop, just play with all the tools that they offer you, & you will get the results that you want.....don't forget the stepbackwards button if you don't like anything.
I can't help you with the water, but if you can put your pics up for MODS, & ask for help, there is always someone that will be willing to help you out.
Hope this is of help to you.

Danny, thanks for your pm, this is a nice well composed scene but to me its a little flat and could do with being a little sharper.A curves adjstment in photoshop might help lift it a bit as well maybe brightness and contrast , nevertheless a well spotted scene. look forward to some more

I would agree with Dolphin lady´s comment tha sharpness could have been crisper. Regarding sharpening in PS or many other other programs, I would recomend sharpening on a copied BG layer and the deciding on the level of opacity of the sharpened layer.
It looks as if it might have been slightly windy at the time which would have made some of the OOF leaves etc?
