Quote:Both this and the exploding lipstick are excellent images. Very well lit and presented. Easily of commercial quality and technically well done. I liked both and in the end chose this one for a GE.

Thank you for the feedback & the GEA! I am glad that you enjoy my work Grin

Quote:Great timing. It's a pity about the jesses hanging down, but nothing you could do about that. You filled the frame a lot better than I could - my birds in flight shots usually have lots of empty space.

Thanks mickrick, I could remove the jesses quite easily in photoshop but didn't really think about it. I might try it with some of my upcoming images. Also a lot of cropping helps to fill the frame Wink

  • "Do sol" waterfall by luizdasilva

Exposure looks good, I think you just need to work on the composition of the image. It could do with something in the foreground, but the rock that is there at the moment looks like its trying to sneak into shot rather than being framed there. It also gives the image a slightly unbalanced feeling. So if you get a chance to go to this location again try and find something of interest to stick in the front of the image, for example more of the rock in the bottom left.

Another alternative is try framing tighter and just have the falls and not include any or very little of the pool.

    just my thoughts, Trev Smile

  • LR2 v's CS4 RAW Processing

One way to see the difference between Lightroom and CS4 is to take the same RAW image and process it in both Lightroom and CS4.

In fact, thanks to Google’s amazingly efficient spying, you can see the very shopfront here – at least until Google updates its images to reflect the shop’s demise.

  • Canon lens?

Interesting thread for me - I took delivery of the 24-105mm a couple of hours ago, having foolishly rejected it both times I bought a 5D body. :)

I gave it a go tonight and it turned out pretty well. I made my own soft box using a desklight, a collapsible crate and some white fabric that worked quite well. I also used some fairy luqid (apple quake flavour) and sainsburys Glycerin lemon and honey cough syrup. smelt quite nice all in all.
Any how heres a fewversions here: link
