Obligatory Swan

By ttiger8
Just received 75 - 300mm lens and itching to try it out but the weather is cloudy & rainy so popped down to the reservoir to see what wildlife was about. Apart from a couple of swans seemed like the birds had taken shelter too.

I think this is partly obligation.. yes.. but partly because the need to hold on in midst of the marshy water.. and in any event he is pleased to do it because it is what the photographers want from him.. if converted to human conditions - dejection is oftentimes our own creation.. so it is better that one understands that for the condition he is living in, he is partly responsible for it.. it also is a manner to achieve a higher sense of freedom.. and when nothing comes your way in a way of solace, you have to seek pleasure through this quest of further freedom.. if the beauty of the world is in store for you - well you might perhaps have to stay strong and be ready to receive with firmer hands.. keep your nerve.. take a step more.. maybe they want it.. If they want it.. you should help them.. Smile
