I like this photo but spent ages trying to figure out what could have caused the break-light stream that high up, then realised "lorry".

Stupidity aside, have you done any editing of the photo in photoshop or any other similar package? The first thing I noticed was the flare from the street lights which seem to make them appear a lot brighter than they are.

lovely composition. Maybe try holding open the shutter for a little less time so the sky is a richer black to add contrast. Other than that, it is a solid photo.

i think the only editing ive done to it is resizing and sharpening,
but i had the saturation on my fuji set as high
