Woodland Feast

Walking through the New Forest at the weekend, we noticed we were walking on a spongy surface and looked down to see this amazing carpet of Autumn foods - a squirrel's heaven! A wonderful sight.

I do like the contrast between the different items in this picture. Reducing the contrast would bring in more of the detail in the dark areas but I think it would lose some of the individuality of the different elements.
