Derwent Water Boat Landings

So grateful to you all for the wonderful response to my last upload. This one was taken a fortnight ago and is a stitched pano. The light was wonderful and although I’d intended walking past the boats to Friar’s Crag they proved too alluring.

I like this picture very much. The lovely orange, brown and red colours, nicely balanced with some gentle blue, all laid out in an interesting composition. The perched bird (a seagull?) is the grace note.
