Many thanks for your votes comments and UA's. I am guilty in recent years of going for the latest and greatest kit wherever possible. However, we all know that light and location trump expensive kit. Don't get me wrong, this was taken with the wonderful 5D mk111 but I doubt whether that would have meant I'd have failed to get the shot had I been shooting with an earlier EOS camera. Mind you, when, occasionally - as sometimes happens - someone says 'You must have a really good camera' I can look proudly at my new 5Ds and say 'Yes I have'. Mind you, hope they don't say 'you must have a really fast PC' or I'm in trouble 😂
