The limited palette is attractive - just apricot and peaty black. Those tree roots are extraordinary, and work well as a silhouette. The overall effect is a bit soft and also a bit cluttered for me. I have a little spare time, I shall have a go at a Mod, no guarantees of any improvement.
It would help if you showed your settings - they are not showing up automatically here but you can easily add them manually. Just click on Options under the photo, then select Edit, and open Exif - you can fill in the details and then Save.

I've uploaded a Mod - here's what I've done:
Rotated slightly anti-clockwise - the sea horizon isn't quite straight;
Got rid or two dust bunnies in the sky;
Cloned out the branches on the left and a few bits and pieces in the water - just to simplify the image;
Darkened Highlights by 7%, then adjusted in Levels, adjusted Brightness and Contrast and used the Burn tool (Shadows, 4% exposure) over the tree and foreground.
I think that's all! I didn't want to lose the delicacy of the original, and to be honest the difference isn't enormous. Let me know what you think.
How much you can improve your pictures depends on the software that you have available.

Nice effort. Just a touch over exposed. Darken a little and you have a very fine image.

this is a beautiful scene, i have put a mod up but its very much the same work as Moira has done, maybe a little darker, and cropped a little tighter in from the bottom.

thanks for all the inputs. I have not been able to recover the properties of the image. Is there any method?

I like colours as the are but agree about rubbing out the two black bit in the water on the left.
Tropical sunsets are often that colour!

Well taken. Since it is a silhouette pic , little darkening of BG will be fine.
