Happy weekend everyoneSmile
Thankyou for C&C on yesterdays upload and a big Thankyou to Jukka for her UAGrinGrinGrin
Todays is also from Kilnsea, Spurn and I know there are a lot of these images about at the moment, but oh well...here is my contribution.

V2.....totally different, I would have put this up on its own but its sooooo disgustingTongueTongueTongue
These beasts are at Spurn because of the shipping that pass up the Humber, and thrive because Spurn being a nature reserve, pesticides are a no no. They are hazardous to health and cause a nasty skin rash if you get the hairs from the caterpillars on the skin.
The caterpillars are really small in size, less than an inch. They can be spotted in bushes and tree's from a distance as they look like weathered tissue's stuck in the tree's........ A bonus fly in the image tooTongue sure he is laughingGrinGrinGrin Or maybe he is tucking inTongueTongueTongueTongueTongue
I forgot to turn the IS back on from the night before on V2Blush so I hope it loads as sharp as it is on my screenWink
Not like me to babble so long.....sorryWink

Both great images... Love the landscape in V1 (and there is a shadow)
I find the catterpillar nest in V2 fascinating. Is it the pine tree ones?

What a lovely landscape you have at V 1, but I am totally intrigued by your V 2: although they are hazardous to health, I find the whole thing totally fascinating.
Have never seen anything like this before.

I used to like looking for caterpillars and playing with them when I were a lad...never thought about any being hazardous to health! Wink A fine close-up, Diane, but I do like those yellow fields as in V1 - has to be my fave SmileSmile

Sitting in the middle of some field, what are you like? Gives the impression you were reconnoitering the place...
Those caterpillars are really tasty deep fried...Wink

A very good rape shot. We cannot always find a focal point at the far end of the field. You have done well.

This 'babbling' is contagious, Diane..?!
Love the landscape, makes me hope summer will come to The Highlands and we get fields of rape like this.
The caterpillars are interesting, didn't know about them being 'itchy'...

Two super captures.
Lots of oilseed rape around here. So striking against the sky.
Rarely see caterpillar's nests these days.
