I am a big fan of the wonderful and amazing close ups that get posted on here, and one day I will treat myself to a macro lens and try for myself, respect to all of the great macros on hereSmile

a good high contrast shot with loads of hairy definition. It also adds to the photo that you have shot the underside.

I guess that people just dont like spiders very much, such a shame, such beautiful creatures, that eat all the disease infested flies, oh well, back to he drawing board, many many thanks to those of you who commentedSmile

I like spiders. I have a couple who have lived under my bed for quite a while and show up on my pillow sometimes. They are very friendly.

This is a seriously good capture. Lots of detail in there and a web as well. Good stuff Smile

Good shot Tony, looks good in B&W and the strand of web makes it more interesting. Good sharp detail, how does it look in colour?

Hi Fred, very nearly pulled this down yesterday, as it hardly got a comment all day, I just thought it looked crap on other peoples monitorsor they just dont like spiders, go figure!
3 Aug 2004 3:37PM
Not that unmentional word on this monitor! And I dont like spiders but appreciate a good pic when I see one. It has been slow recently but click from me for a contemporary shot of those damn ugly beasts! K.

Thank you K, for your comment and click, its funny how people refuse to comment because they dont like the subject.

And I guess I am just as much to blame, as I rarely comment on lanscapes or flowers.
