Quick upload from Donington. Another one taken for the team competition. Will more than likely submit this as one of the shots.

For the panning shots I took I was trying to get something which would make a good poster, so as blurred background as possible (which resulted in a fair few shots to be binned, because it was a blustery day and no matter how hard I tried, it was the wind that screwed up my panning - honest), I was also trying to get the car as full in the frame as possible and the driver in clear view. Shots from the front 3/4 of this car mean that the wing mirror is always in front of the driver!

f5.6 1/80th @ about 250mm I think, was quite close to the track at this point.

Good shot. Very difficult to pan and get a sharp image at that shutter speed. Like the angle too.

Nice crisp shot......but I feel that the green is too strong and competing with the car.

For selling it to the driver, he might have liked to see hismself going 'up' in the world rather than being on the 'downward' slide......but that is a minor risk against the quality

Thanks all for the comments.

Roy - I know what you're saying, but I rarely like shots of cars going 'uphill' not quite sure why Grin

Cracking bit of composition Rob. Cropped at all or as shot? If the latter I'm more than impressed!

Straight of the camera Nik. Thats my benchmark now. If it needs cropping (other than just off the top/bottom) then I retake Smile

Until I get more pixels, I like to have as much data as possible in case I want to print big.
