Jane Warner

By VicBarnes
This was shot on assignment (in the studio) for Sonic Intercommunications. Jane was the model and responded to something by looking back at me and hitting me with that 100 kilowatt smile! Priceless...!

Blimey Vic that's a face from the past. Certainly a beautiful model and a nice portrait. And with a Pentax MX, I had an MX and an ME both were very good cameras.

Well done!!

Dazzling smile. Picked out by super lighting control. Great portrait.

Yes she brings back memories. If I remember correctly she was THE Page 3 70s girl. And also from memory one of the classic shots was of her in water throwing her head back...all the water spray caught frozen in a path over her head.

Yes Pete, you're absolutely right. I do remember that shot (or similar) and it was taken by John Pickering -- one of my colleagues at Picture Power. Also, Jane was a Brighton girl and posed for local camera clubs well into her 40s. She eventually married a man almost 30 years her senior... and they both lived happily ever after (I think)!

Since this photo was taken, is she still 'active' as a photo model or is she, as a lot of photo models of, from her time: 'status/ whereabouts unknown'?
