Artistic Damselfly

By vikspics
I decided to be a little more artisitc with this damselfly, I saw it resting on the end of a piece of grass and with the main focus on its face, I blurred out the background to give the impression of it coming out from the grass, everything has been done in camera and I've not touched this image at all on the computer. It was hard to capture due to the strong winds blowing the grass, but thankfully patience paid off in the end. Hope you like him!

Great dof...just enough to tell what it is and to give a dramatic feel.

Was going to try this at my garden pond today but it's raining now...oh well.
