Wood Carving -

One from our 2015 trip - we had taken the ferry from the mainland to Vancouver Island and undertook our journey ..during which we came across this wood carving competition ( chain saws and anything else that cuts wood )...certainly lots of wood dust and wood aromas within the atmosphere.

Altho' taking photos of people unknown to me takes me well out of my comfort zone but this guy took our interest ....

We named him " Man of the Mountains " mainly for his rugged looks....but for sure he executed and delivered some superb art work

We have some excellent wood carvers here on the island. Vancouver Island that is. Very good image.
