River Axe - low tide

Took a trip down to Seaton ( Devon UK ) the other day and the River Axe was now on its outflow - the boats moored along the river gently "resting " just before the final relaxation of the tide and " flopping " them over on their respective sides.

The sun was coming out from behind the clouds and me the photographer, there was a slight wisp of wind picking up on the river but not enough to disturb the reflections too much whilst still capturing the mood of the afternoon.

The wildlife was taking the advantage of the lowering tide with egrets, sandpipers, curlews, oyster catchers . cormorants, and other wading birds for their " feast " for the day

They say that Three is a crowd, but not in this instance,well caught Vincent & I hope you took many shots of these boats,I would think that the "Leona May" would be an interesting subject all on her own.

Hi Ron -my plan was to wait a little longer and capture the blue boat which would have been surrounded in its own "lake " of water ...unfortunately the Fish & Chips had a higher calling
