Outside the Box

By VintageRed
Well into Abstract mode at this point. This image is a close-up upward view of the outside of the Basket #7 sculpture at Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

I find myself attracted by patterns so I was in my element with this sculpture. I particularly enjoyed playing with the lines with the distorting effect of a wide-angle lens.

It also strikes me that individuals engage with art in their own way. This image is part of my experience.

Very simple but crucially you have the symmetry and crop spot on. Like it.

Well spotted Nick. Looks like you are getting over the Padley fever, and getting a dose of Abstractitis instead!!.
You have cleverly made feature of the converging lines in this.
