Enchanted Forest

By VintageRed
For those of a football persuasion, particularly those from the red half of Nottingham, this title does not refer to the apparent evil spell that seems to ensure Forest lose whenever the Sky cameras are present! Hopefully they'll break the hoodoo this evening.

No, this title refers to the ancient woodland at Padley Gorge that I have found to be such an enchanting place this year. I promise to do my best to find a new favourite location for next year folks.

In the meantime I hope you enjoy this humble offering.

Grand viewpoint Nick, and lovely dappled light. Before you change your favourite location, I wonder if this capture would be worth a seasonal take, perhaps from the same viewpoint over all four seasons. It looks like the sort of place that would look completely different dependent on the time of year - just a thought!

First of all, love the angle of shot, makes everything look like its guarding you or watching you. Good composure. Would be cool to see same image but with a sunrise/mist type atmosphere Smile

Good shot mate

Great colour and perspective Nick. You'll have to nick Brian Laws from Sheffield Wednesday, he did alright at Scunny. I'm from there as well although now live the other side of the hill.
