From the Shadows

By VintageRed
Always worth taking a trip off the beaten path where sometimes a view presents itself that just speaks to you.

This was one of those for me. I liked the way that the light is trying to reach under the tree and how the canopy is lit.

I'll be trying to catch up with you all over the next few days. Meanwhile thanks as always fro any comments you might leave.

The light is fantastic in this Nick. I tried to capture something similar but without sucess so far. An underviewed image that deserves more attention.

Nick, this is really beautiful. I love that moss covered rock with the leaves sprinkled on top. The color of the leaves is a wonderful contrast to the green. Great lighting as well, very good picture.

You said it was a dark thumbnail, but open it up and what a delight, great range of colour shade and atmosphere. I really like the slightly pinky glow this has.

Back on form with avengance!

Thank you all.

Mark, I used 5 exposures for this one due to the high range of light contrast. They were derived from the same Raw image and ranged from plus two to minus two. I combined them using Photomatix and finished the image in Photoshop.
