Golden Crown

By VintageRed
Fallen off the wagon I'm afraid - yes, it's a shot of Padley Gorge. In my defence, it's:
a) an attractive location that deserves to be highlighted
b) been three months since I last uploaded a shot from here
c) quite a high contrast location and therefore a good opportunity to test out new HDR software.

As you'll detedct from the colours, the shot was taken during the Autumn where towards the top of the cascades there is a gorgeous colour to the tree canopies and I hope I've caught some of that richness here

Hope you enjoy

I see what you mean Caleb. I think that's me being lazy and applying the unsharp mask over the whole image instead of de-selecting the water first. Thanks for your comment.

Looks a beautiful place Nick, I've seen it many times on epz, the silky water looks great through the defused light, well captured, Adrian

Looking tonight, in a positive mood, and I quite like this now! It works better on my laptop, a bit more contrast and that light you've caught is very nice.
