Liquid Gold

By VintageRed
For those of you who left comments and clicked yesterday - thank you. I was in a black mood that deepened as the day wore on and I'm afraid yeterday's shot became a casualty of it. I became less pleased with it as the day progressed. Nevertheless, I'm grateful to you for taking the time to make an observation.

Today's image is back to the medium of water but stays to some extent with the genre of abstract. It was taken in October when the water is at its most peaty and consequently there is some lovely colour in the water. Of course at this time there is also much leaf litter and occasionaly it forms little 'log-jams'.

Hope you enjoy.

Before I read the blurb it made me think it was some kind of creature popping it's head out of the water. Like the colouring,

Nick that's gorgeous. I love it. What's really interesting about it is how it can be one thing, and then another - it works in so many ways as an abstract and a study of a moment and a celebration of colour .. hark at me. Better lay off the strong coffee :-]

Might be worth shunting it through some noise reduction software to see what the difference might be. But I love it anyway Smile
