Would it suit a squarer crop?
Absolutely not, LOL. Perfect comp, great shot and a nice splash of Red too.

A great shot with super lines, patterns and perspective. The eye really follows the curve of the pier and the figures give scale and a focal point to the shot. Great stuff. Well done. CLIK.

Thanks you for your comments and clicks. Just realised I put the wrong lens down and can't change the info on the edit screen (I'm just so used to having the wide angle on). For those of you who like this information, this one was actually taken with the 100-400 lens which helped to compress the distance between each column. Nick.

Great composition with the two people in just the right spot. With all the tones of blue i the image the little lads red shirt really finishes it off.

Effective shot. Would have never guessed the lens. I rally like the repeating lines and the fugures in the background. Very nice.

I daren't post mine now, perhaps I should put that I used your 100-400 lens so that on average we'd be right between us!
It was very bright light you were dealing with here, and you've done it so well. Can I click twice?

Excellent shot. You've pretty much got everything in this one ... textures, light and shadow, subtle colours, great lead-in, and a couple of well positioned figures for scale and interest.

Nice one.

Dave.

memo to self ... must get one of these 10-22mm jobbies. A lot of people seem to be using them to great effect.
