Black Nab

By VintageRed
As my photography has developed, I have begun searching more for simple compositions. This one fits the bill for me. It may be too little and subtle to meet everyone's taste but I like the light on this one and the simplicity of the three rocks in the f.g. to offset the Nab itself.

Hope you enjoy and best wishes for the weekend.

Nick.

You forgot to click mod!

I want to get my hands on this shot, LOL.

The comp is, as you say simple, but frankly the sky is very flat (but then you know my preference) and there looks like more texture available in the foreground. I know this makes me unsubtle and maybe unsophisticated but, then, you know me!
There is some nice light on the left of the rocks.

Very simple and uncluttered and very effective. Gorgeous light, and the simple composition shows this to great advantage.

I also like the simple images, not to fussy, this has a very "relaxed" feel to it. Nice.

Hi Nick,i like the reflections in the water in the foreground, the lighting around black nab,the way that as you go towards the nab it looks like a swell as the ground rises and then becomes flatter again behind, excellent exposure and presentation.Take care.AnnSmile
Have a good weekend.
