For Those in Peril

By VintageRed
Following on from yesterdays posting, this is the same wreck obviously but I think the composition is sufficiently different to test your patience.

From the top of the cliff it really doesn't seem such a distance to get to this point but it's surprising just how far you have to walk. Maybe Saltwick Bay is just one of those places where time and space don't operate to normal principles.

Overall, I might just prefer yesterdays but I like the detail in the rock pool immediately in front of the wreck in this one.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for viewing.

Nick

Both this and yesterdays are excellent - I prefer the sky in this, but the composition in yesterdays. It looks a great location.

Cheers

Certainly a "cleaner" composition in the previous shot, but I agree with you about the foreground pool. If it was'nt for those two "sticky-up bits" then this would be my preferred shot of the two, but they rather spoil this one slightly for me.

I didn't see yesterday's, Nick, and on first view I could have sworn that was an old piano sticking out of the sand Wink (I shall rectify my omission immediately after commenting though Wink )

This is very dramatic. Like an impression of the Last Days, with remnants of civilisation sticking out of the earth like broken teeth and a sun dying in the distance. Really excellent mood and composition, and the colour palette works so well.
