Saltwick Arrowhead

By VintageRed
Was planning to post another image today but MikeH got there first so I switched to this one instead. I was struck by the arrowhead shape caused by the cliff and it's reflection. The image is a tad busier than I would like but I like the overall feel. Thanks for stopping by and as always your comments and critique are very welcome. BTW, MikeH can just be seen in shot giving scale to the whole thing - cheers Mike.

I can see it. This is a good effect. And the low angle of the light hitting the cliffs really helps with the feel of this.

This works well. Colours are good and the reflection gives a nice symmetry.

I always knew I was photogenic, perhaps I could start a new career as an extra!! LOL
I like this for it's reflection and the detail under the water and am kicking myself for being too lazy to have taken it myself, drat,

I know what you mean about the shot being a bit busy. For me the texture in the water in the foreground distracts from the arrow shape, which a tighter crop would accentuate. But then you run the risk of losing the wisp of cloud which does add something. On balance I would go for the tighter crop and make more of the arrow shape if that was appealed to you.
Isn't it always the way, you take ages to frame a shot, get the set up perfect, and then some idiot walks into shot! LOL. Having spoken to him, it's good see Mike at last. Who knows, I might even meet him one day!
Just looked again, I might be tempted to either blur or reduce noise on the foreground just to take some of the distracting texture out.
Bit of a war and peace comment this!
