Saltwick Blue

By VintageRed
Second go. Thanks to davethelens, jeanie, MarkT. DiegoDesigns, Mounters and Tonyhanners for clicking the first time and to the several of you that pointed out the wonky horizon. Once I'd seen it, I couldn't get past it but how I'd missed it originally, I just don't know.

Anyway as I was saying, this shot was the last one of a mid-Summer shoot at Saltwick Bay. I had already packed my gear away when I became aware of the colours and just had to get the camera out again.

So my encouragement to all of you out there is: Be aware of your surroundings. You never know, there could be one last shot to be had.

Great picture Nick.....dont worry about missing the wonky horizon on your original post if they were giving out awards for those I would definately be a contender, its just really annoying to overelook something so obvious....the light and reflections really work a treat.

I always look behind me when packing up, and the best light appears just after I have got in the car and driven off. Always looks best in the rear view mirror!!

Anyway, back to the shot Nick. Another good one to have hanging around in your archive.

Hi Ya Nick,
So sorry I missed the 1st round, for I've never seen you having a 'Wonky' Horizon??
Yours are usually to perfection...Smile

Anyways, this is a wonderful image you've produced, Luv that dramatic sky!

Cheers and Thank you for your kind comments, they are very much appreciated,
Suzan Smile
