Puffy goes wild at the races

By vogelsang
Ok, it's back to the racing dogs again. Sorry for that, but that's just something I really love. Being a member of the local racing club, the photo opportunity is just right at my doorstep.

Dog racing is a private hobby over here in Germany. Commercial dog racing is forbidden, which is good. But you can get your family dog on the racing track here and see if he likes to chase the fake rabbit.

Here a poodle just went wild. He took the wrong direction, but who cares...

Great action shot - well captured. Sounds more exciting than our dog racing - and no chance of lossing any money Smile

Brilliant. It sounds a bit like whippet racing in this country which again is just owners running their dogs and not commercial.
Great to see a poodle running.

Ah, ok, I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me. I just know about the commercial greyhound races. Here you find all kinds: afghans, galgos, whippets, sloughis, azawakhs (however you spell these). It's great fun. For both dogs and owners. Usually. If you are not too ambitious. Elke
