Taken yesterday, it was very windy but a beautiful sunny afternoon .I've been trying to get a picture of Gorse for some time ,this is the closest i've got so far .
Any advice on getting it better appreciated.

well caught - you have done well to keep it so sharp as it is always moving
- it is easier to shoot flowers on a dull day (use tripod for slower shutter speed needed) The "flatter" light allows you to capture more detail and the colours are more saturated - if necessary you can tweak the contrast a little on the computer later

I always find it difficult to shoot a good image when yellow is the predominant colour but you have succeeded.

could never do the macro with my fuji nothing good anyway but since i got the samsung i finding it much easier .It's a great camera .Smile

Good composition, lovely shot,I can't get the dof as good as that, I simply don't know the secret.

It's so interesting to find other people accepting the same challenges as myself. Surrounded by gorse, which grows here all year, so it's taken a bit for granted. But can I get a good shot in summer? So I agree with northernlight. Managed about 2 out of 20-odd!
