Thanks very much for the comments.I obviously have a great deal of empathy for anyone who may have suffered loss in the recent floods.
Im not sure that I completley agree with the Bad taste comment Phil.
The fact of the matter is, that the floods happened and That to see everyday objects not normally underwater..In this sureal state, is a spectacle to behold.Posting images representative of the current floods is no different in my opinion from the thousands of images we see daily in the media covering it.
If you or your family have suffered at all,my thoughts are with you, as they are to anyone who reads this post.I apologise for any offence caused.
On the other hand Im glad it has promoted discussion as that is the essence of why people make pictures.
