nice photo,dont know if tide would of come on but if you could of waited for tide or shadow or both this would of been a great photo

Perhaps a lower position would have created a mountain view / perspective?

had a go at amod...decided to desaturate and then lifted contrast before re-sharpening..hope you like it Smile

You must put some words into the description when you submit photographs for critique, tell us:

1. Where you took the image
2. Why you took the image
3. What you were trying to take and did you manage to take it
4. What you like and dislike about the image

I like this image it was well spotted I like the shadows and contrast and the texture you have achieved in the sand

I like the idea i think you may of focused to far away perhaps try focusing a little closer with small aperture i would try focusing about a third in , but thats just my view and i am no expert.

But i think this has potential
