Glencoe Evening

Continuing a slightly interupted naive exploration of monchrome/duochrome. Much photographed subject - have I got something diffrent and worth doing with the toned monchrome and backlight? Grateful for any comment/advice

Walter this is fabulous and almost a sci-fi photo. Was it a very large alien spaceship that landed??

I really like this, the toning looks great to me, certainly worth the effort, and it's a terrific shot.

Definitely a different take on a classic subject. The foreground interest works well and then there's that amazing sky...

Nicely composed and executed.

love the stark white house against all the other tones.

It's harder then I thought is b&w to get a really good image but you've done well here

The black and white compliments this image perfectly. Love the light emerging from behind the house.

The toning is so slight here you might be better without it, the light coming from behind the cottage is very special, on the down side it has obliterated Stob Dearg.
A nice shot with a bit of different treatment, works well.
Have a look at the site for Camairish who commented on this image, he is a very good photographer indeed.

All the very best
Dougie
