'Bin down Heaton's court

By WarrenD
Headed out with a photo buddy of mine, Adrian Wilson (aka ade_mcfade) after work last Thursday in the hope of grabbing some urban city type shots with a nice setting sun illuminating the sky. However the weather transpired against us to produce quite a grey and non-descript sky and so we went in search of those locations that are usually overlooked but can quite often produce grity urban shots, such as this one of Heaton's court.

A tiny little back street that runs down the side of an adult shop and a railway viaduct and surprisingly leads to a firm of solicitors and a hotel. I must have wlaked past this street 1000's of times on my way to and from work and have quite often seen it sealed off by police tape suggesting it's not the sort of place you would want to venture down after dark!

You've joined then Smile

You do get more feedback on here than on Flickr - its worth shoving your 1 shots a day on, cause you can only do 1 at a time. Worth bearing in mind Smile

Nice start image anyway

Cheers Ade.

Yeah, have been dipping in and out of here for a while reading bits and pieces on the forums and in the reviews so finally took the plunge and signed up.

What's this 1 shot a day thingy then and where do i find it?

you can only upload one shot a day

on Flickr you can upload hundreds at a time - but here it's just one a day, and if you don't upload a shot on a day, you loose that upload opportunity forever!

it's nowt sinister, but it's good cause it means the galleries don't get too full too quickly
