Eilean Donan Castle

Another photo of Eilean Donan castle photographed again from near the viewpoint. I should have took with me a 24/70mm lens as I haven't been able to avoid the trees on the bottom right.

The red sky was unexpected as earlier it was unremarkable. The sun broke through just as it was going down behind the hills.

A 1.2 & 0.9 ND Grad ( 7 stops) was required to try to control the brightness, hopefully I may just have got away with it.

The arc on the water was caused by a very fast boat.

No adjustments except a bit of sharpening.

Info: ISO 100 @ F22 25sec exposure

The Castle is nicely situated with the viaduct leading in from the corner, and set against that wonderful sunset seascape - beautiful shot. Well done.
