After the Rain

One of the flowershots that I changed into a mono image with strong darks. I took this photo just after one of the many rains that we have this summer.

This flower is bright pink, but I was looking for another mood and viewpoint.

Any comments are welcome!

This works equally well to my eyes Jacqueline - the "brave" cropping is a good choice and the restricted depth of field also (though I suspect it would work equally well with a much greater DoF too?

Yes, there's not much we can do about the rain at the moment except try and make the most of it

I think that your sepia treatment in this shot brings more attention to the water droplets somehow.
