Yellow Boat

By webjam
Finally I started processing the pictures that I took with my new compact: Canon G10.
It came in handy while being in Norfolk and photographing from an uncomfortable angle. Like here: low on the ground in the mud.... Smile

It is a simple image, but I like simplicity as you might now (well at least so now and then).
Looking forward to your comments.

Great image indeed

Nice choice of subject, the yellow in the boat really draws the eye in, with a complementary comparison against moody sky. Well presented too.

Although there is interest in the foreground, I think you would have a better composition if most of it was cropped!! The top half of the picture is excellent.

LOL! And there I was, trying not to get stuck in the mud to get that within the frame! Smile

The yellow boat really does contrast well with the sky colours. I like the composition and feel that the foreground is needed here as it leads you to the boat. If I was really picky, I'd crop a slither of the left hand side ? however, I like it as is and the smaller boat in the distance as depth to the image Smile
