The original I assume with a new crop.

Its very nice, and not a huge amount to suggest.

Some minor stuff, water at the left of her head seems darker than it needs to be; can be sharpened a bit;Personally I would increase exposure to some extent on her face, but reduce it on her chest, as her chest is a lot brighter, - so go for a more even approach.

Ive uploaded this as a colour mod, and also added a mono thats vert different to your first upload, its soft and "dreamy", just a different way to edit this nice image.

Willie covers the technical stuff and this crop is better. It's not an image I'm personally attuned to. The slightly blank stare perhaps. As a story image, then there is character, but not one I find has longevity.

Not a lot to add to the above, but one thing I would definitely say is that ... if you're going to clone, go over the image with a very critical eye afterwards, to ensure you don't have repeating patterns! Look at the ear on the right of the image, about in the middle ... that little hair is repeated x3 extra times going away horizontally from the ear Smile

I've done a mod where (as well as removing those extra cloned hairs) I've taken the heat out of the reds (red eyes are never a good look on a woman, even if the mascara is waterproof!) and sharpened the hair and eyes. The image might be a bit cool now on your screen, but it looks okay on mine.

But yeah ... there's something about this lass that really reminds me of Kristen Stewart of the Twilight Saga films Grin

Thanks for uploading this. Interestingly, some of the problems that I thought arose from b&w conversion are present here - the odd shadow under the hairline on our left, the lighter streaks down the outer edges of the cheeks, the light streak down the nose. And I suspect that some of that may be down to work on the colour image. Tanya has mentioned the repeated hair streaks. Have you done some cloning on the chin? The skin looks patchy there. I wonder if you were trying to counter highlights on wet skin perhaps?

I'll have a go at a b&w later. I'd like to work on brightening the water droplets, they're there so make a feature of them. Back later, I hope...

Edit - Reading the above it sounds rather negative, I really do like this. But I think perhaps you need to be a bit gentler with the processing.

Hi all who have commented, I am accepting everything except the hair on the ear.. I have not done a thing to her ears or hair that's work on chin either.. I tidied corner of her mouth and worked on her eyes.. Her skin had some pond weed on it so I removed it that's all ..on her body.. But I'm grateful indeed for time taken on her and so much info....and ideas..many any this

The really difficult thing is to keep the drops of water without losing subtle tones in Lotte's face...

I failed. Sorry!

Hi I actually love the softness of the overall face its lovley.
I don't think you have failed ..the nose is much better I think this picture has been a huge learning curve for me.and I'm very grateful for all your efforts and I will get this right eventually and from it I will continue to learn masses
Many thanks to you.

looking back at this, I think that what is really missing are catch lights in the eyes. That would add life as the eyes lack sparkle. A touch of flash fill or a bit of work with a brush to add them perhaps.

Jenny, perhaps I was a little vague about the bit I was referring to ... I've uploaded a mod showing the repeating pattern I'm seeing Smile

No worries Grin I've lost count of the times I've done exactly the same thing, and then kicked myself afterwards. Glad you didn't mind me pointing it out!
