Making waves 2

By mrswoolybill
A second composition of the waves breaking on Tynemouth beach, seen from the height of the castle walls.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Your image reminds me of the 'Flying V' Guitar made popular in the 70's by some aged rocker....

A great capture and one which I am sure so many members can relate too...

I was attracted by the thumbnail; the 'real thing' does not disappoint!
The diagonal lines and convergence of the low waves create a stunning image, Moira.

I like the triangulation of this. As if the sea has somewhere to head for, somewhere it needs to be.

An electric guitar? A boomerang? An arrow? A fish's fin? I like what people are seeing in this.
I took a good few shots. (Frustrating, you wait for ages for a good wave and then mistime it...) This and yesterday's were my favourites, neither is perfect. I don't like the bit of breaking wave top left here, yesterday's has a bright bit right at the apex of the V-shape.
Thanks everyone. Life is still busy, loads of meetings etc.

A road sign on a flooded road Moira ?
The North tip of the Isle of Lewis from a map of Google Earth ?
A cross section of a slice of Neapolitan ice cream ?
It is up to you.
But just wave goodbye to my suggestions if you wish !!

Interesting. It's the breaking wave bottom left I'm not keen on.
