Buachaille Etive Mor

By WeeGeordieLass
A morning I'll never forget.

I arrived on location in the pre-dawn twilight. The river was in spate and, as light levels increased, mist began to rise up and swirl around the trees.

As the sun rose the mood changed minute by minute. I had got my shots of the waterfall and the mist-enveloped trees and was thinking of packing away my gear when I noticed the fantastic light falling on the scene behind me.

The low raking sunrays picking out specific parts of the rocks, water and foliage and bathing them in warm gorgeous light took my breath away.

It was a kinda "glad to be alive" moment.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look

Not actually been to this particular spot in the highlands, but it's really lovely. And very nicely captured here, Elaine, beautiful warm light Smile
