Cauldron Falls

By WeeGeordieLass
During a recent two day whistle stop tour of Glencoe and the surrounding areas it rained constantly.

As I arrived at Cauldron Falls on Rannoch Moor, miraculously, the rain stopped!

I set up my gear without delay and hoped I could get a few shots into the camera before the Rain God finished his tea break and sprang back into action.

A long exposure rendered the water milky and silky.

As I was packing up I felt a few rain drops on my face but I didn't give a hoot - I had got my shots

Thanks for stopping by to take a look.

A gorgeous capture of this beautiful dramatic scenery Elaine Smile I'd visited Glencoe a few times in 'summer' and it was gloomy, misty, dismal and wet each time, until a few years ago when I went in the middle of March, and there were blue skies and sunshine, and you could actually see the tops of the mountains! Grin I've come to the conclusion that's the best time of year to visit Scotland... Wink
