Harrop Tarn

I walked a little further round the tarn and found this great viewpoint.

I love the curving line of the lily pads leading the eye into the centre of the frame and towards the background trees and fells.

It was at this point I was attacked by midges, not as fierce as the Scottish "Ferocious Wee Beasties" but just as irritating...time to pack up and head for home.
