Spring White

By WeeGeordieLass
What a wonderful way to spend a chilled out Saturday morning after a busy week at work.

Camera on tripod; wonderful soft lighting streaming through my conservatory window; beautiful flower selected from the shrub in my front garden and me singing along to Smooth Radio at the top of my voice (I'll apologise to the neighbours later.....that's if they're still speaking to me!). Tongue

I hope you feel that my time spent chillin' in the company of Lionel Ritchie, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross and Co. wasn't wasted.

Thanks for looking guys, and I'd be grateful if anyone could let me know the name of the flower Blush

I don't know much about flower species so can't help, but I do like this - a fine capture and presentation Elaine Smile
Pity we can't hear your singing, too! Wink

Nicely done. Could be a camellia, if it is an evergreen.Smile

Hi All,

Just got back from the "neighbour lynch mob" TongueTongue.

Thanks for all the clicks and comments - it's really appreciated.

Lisa (aliciabeesley) - I'm glad you like the background, it took me ages to find one that I felt complimented the flower Smile

Trev - believe me you wouldn't want to hear me singing Blush

Ivor - Camellia....yes I think that is what it is - thanks Smile

Cheers for taking the time to comment too Myra, Nathan and Christine

Great image. Like the soft focus of the petals and the diffused light.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for taking the time to comment....I'll try cropping the leaf out and see how it looks.
