The Anchor

By wenzu78
It's once again a visit to this old fishing vessle. This time around it was it's anchor which caught my eye and tried to capture it a little differently.

The angle was a little awkward but I'm glad I managed to get a little room for a decent leading line.

I shall try a little harder next time, without falling off the pier of course Wink

Enjoy your last days of this year 2012 my buddies.

This is so nice Lawrence - I love the decay on the boat contrasted with the smooth water as well !

A wonderfully observed and composed photograph with strong colours and well defined lines.

Well done, Lawrence! I love all kinds of boats. You're living on a beautiful island with lots of boats and interesting buildings.Wink

Strong colour contrast and shapes, Lawrence. The numbers stand out more for me than the anchor but an excellent shot.

Striking colour contrasts again and I agree, the numbers steal the show.
