I'm drawn to the eye although I love the coat. He looks as if he's deep in thought, perhaps remembering fine days in meadows
or of when he was a young foal skipping about without a care.
These images do evoke a lot of feeling.

Again I am seeing sadness, regrets in the ICM effect. All must fall.

The truly heroic figure in Tam o'Shanter is of course a horse.

If its possible for to show emotion in a horse, and daughter says they do, then you've captured it. She tells me this one's in need of some loving.

Not as strong a composition as Horse 2 and 3 (in my opinion) but I really like the effect used on these images and your PP.

Terribly sad, like he is taking the last steps of his life, and he knows his fate.
Afraid I have to agree with derekhansen, my favourite so far was yesterday's. I also like the effect.

Another fine ICM image with a definite despondent edge to it, great work, Alan.

Even more enigmatic than the earlier ones. I agree with Derek though, not withstanding its a fabulous image, its not quite as strong as the others. Still pretty damn good matey
