Another real Gem Alan. The thing that makes this special for me is the light LNG the horizon and the wet sand.... Superb again... Mono minimalism at its absolute best

Beautifully observed, not just the streaks of light but the triangle of vessels. Since there is no clear sense of scale there is more left to our imaginations, always a plus in my book.

Well I'm seeing sand... I'm seeing sky, sea and wet sand distinguished from each other only by streaks of light. But light is the most important element that I'm seeing.

The light and ripples on the water make the surface look so uneven giving the impression of land/sand. Strong bands of light and texture with a lovely grainy finish.
